Issue Position

It is time for us to demand racial justice by dismantling the historic and systematic barriers that have disproportionately affected communities of color and low income. We need to address the criminal justice system, readjust our priorities when it comes to funding public safety in our community. Let's focus on living wages, mental health and social workers, restorative practices, economic security and education.

I support the legalization of marijuana and immediate efforts to reverse the disproportionate impact prohibition has had on communities of color.
